The J-Series Mitsubishi Jeeps design was licensed design of the Willys Jeep CJ3B This is not to be confused with the license built Mahindra of India versions, the Mitsubishi version benefits form the reliable build quality of Japanese cars of its time. Mitsubishi's version were built from 1953 until 1998. In total, approximately 200,000 units were built in this 45-year period.

Built in 1989, this is a Japanese import registered in the UK in 2002.

There are examples of the J59 asking £6500, this one has been priced at £3995 because there are certain areas of the body work that require attention due to corrosion. This all adds to the character of the vehicle, but has to be reflected in the price. Areas affected are: Nearside rocker, Nearside fender, Nearside rear quarter, Nearside bonnet side. There are a few other minor patches around the vehicle. The soft top is water tight, but has had some patch repairs. Structural integrity of chassis recently tested on MOT and no advisory’s.
