The auto transmission has a significant leak and will not go into 3rd gear and has an intermittent reverse gear.
The Jeep has been stood for a couple of years, however it will start and drive. we do however recommend that it is transported due to gearbox fault.
Overall it is in good condition for its year with minimal corrosion compared with some examples the same age. The previous owner had painted the chassis in the early years of its life. There is some surface corrosion on the chassis as expected for age, but box section and axles are still very solid.
The body is also in good condition for its age, however there are some rust bubbles starting on the front fenders and a small rust patch on the bonnet originating from a small dent.
The interior and seats are exceptionally good condition, some soiling to carpet and inside roof of soft top.
The Jeep has been cherished by its previous owners with a folder full of receipts and history. The Jeep had a new gearbox torque convertor fitted a few year back however would require a donor auto box or specialist autobox rebuilder to get it back onto the road.
