IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND UPDATES

Jeepey Team: 

To all or friends and customers, may we take this opportunity to wish you all the very best for 2022. Regrettably, we are starting the new year with the same ongoing challenges as last year, more details below. However, the Jeepey Team are committed to providing you great service, tech advice, competitive pricing, and have a big selection of parts for immediate delivery.

  • Immediate Delivery - The part is in stock at our UK Warehouse and will be dispatched very swiftly, however, we depend on our couriers to meet their delivery targets. Therefore, during this volatile and unpredictable time we cannot promise our usual next day delivery service. Please be patient when waiting for parts to be delivered if they have not arrived within the expected time frame. Most of our deliveries come with a tracking code, please keep an eye on this for updates. 
  • Special Order - These parts have to be ordered from the manufacturer and will take longer to arrive with you, normal circumstances will take between 7 to 21 days, some parts they will take longer, and could be temporarily unavailable. To help ensure a speedy delivery of your order, parts on your order could be substituted with the equivalent part from an alternative manufacturer. You will be notified before your order is processed and given the option to cancel. The Jeepey Team are busy and working hard to ensure the best possible service under very difficult circumstances. 

Suppliers: 

Many of our suppliers are behind schedule, and we are experiencing delays in shipping or product availability. Production worldwide is still struggling to recover production due to the new COVID Omicron variant. Manufacturers are concentrating key parts in the first instance, leaving the manufacture of the less popular parts falling well behind on production runs. 

Transport & Shipping:

You will be well aware through the media, there are major issues with transport, this is not only in the UK, but there is also severe disruption in the USA, Far East and Europe, and our imported consignments are taking longer than usual to arrive. When consignments do reach the UK, new EU Customs requirements are now in force, and will cause further disruption and delays due to staffing shortages and increased paperwork. Staffing shortages are also causing problems with our couriers and there maybe additional delays on certain routes.

Pricing Policies:

Some of our prices could be subject to change after your order has been placed, this will be due to a manufacturer's unexpected price rise, increased import tariffs, surcharges, fuel price increases and handling fees from our couriers. Unfortunately, due to these increased charges, we will no longer be able to absorb additional surcharges for non-mainland (Highlands and Islands) shipping costs. You will be notified if there is a price increase to your order or increased shipping fee, you will have the option to cancel your order with a full refund.

Export Orders: 

Regarding export orders, there are still ongoing issues with Customs, therefore, we are looking at each order individually, and we will contact you by email with further information. All export customers must be aware that some items on the order may incur import duties and tariffs when they arrive in EU member states, prior to receiving their delivery, and will be subject to additional delays.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Please note we are working within following guidelines:

  • Customers can view our sales vehicles, and collect pre-booked orders, by appointment only.
  • Our workshop is open as normal, and we are taking bookings for all customisation and repair work.
  • We request all visitors sign in at reception, use the hand sanitiser, respect social distancing and are requested to wear a face covering whilst on the premises.
