Suspension:

Rubicon express 3.5" Superflex suspension lift incorporates upper and lower super flex control arms.

The ultimate suspension system for the TJ running the factory short arm suspension geometry. The RE7000 Super-Flex is a complete suspension system, featuring new control arms with our Super-Flex spherical ball joints, replacement 3.5-inch lift springs, extended bump stops, longer front brake lines, and Gen II sway bar disconnects.

Adjustable upper control arms and fixed lower control arms with serviceable Super-Flex spherical ball joints. Adjustable arms dial in required castor and pinion angles.

Rubicon's Extreme-Duty mono-tube shocks are developed and tuned specifically for each application. This is the only way to deliver maximum control while not compromising ride quality, high-speed stability and comfort for those extended trips over the toughest terrain.

Tera 2 low and SYE eliminator:

The TeraFlex TJ: NP231-J 2Low 2WD Low-Range Shift Sector Kit adds a low-range 2WD/RWD (two-wheel-drive/rear-wheel-drive) option to the TJ Wrangler/Unlimited models’ NP231-J transfer case’s standard low-range shift pattern.

This kit enhances trail turning ability by allowing tighter turns on narrow switchbacks and eliminates most front-end bind encountered while turning with 4WD (four-wheel-drive) engaged. 

Stock Jeeps have a slip yoke style output shaft at the rear driveline. This design is not conducive to off road use nor the steeper operating angles caused by suspension lifts. To ensure smooth and durable driveline operation with the 3.5" lift a modification has been made to the transfer case to accommodate a double carden drive shaft. 

Detroit Truetrac Limited Slip Diffs

The Detroit Truetrac is a helical-gear style, limited-slip differential that maximizes wheel traction and enhances driving characteristics. Maintenance-free, it features smooth, automatic operation. The Truetrac performs like an open differential under normal driving conditions and automatically transfers torque to the wheel with better traction when ground conditions warrant. This greatly improves off road performance.

  • New BFGoodrich KM3 tyres, 6 months (1000 miles covered)
  • New soft top skin 
No history, however very well maintained by previous owner with lots of money spent on it. Check out the clean MOT history over past 8 years. 

Chassis regularly cleaned and very solid with very little corrosion. Must be seen to be appreciated. Not many other UK cars of this age with as little corrosion.

Bodywork:

This Jeep has been used by an enthusiast off road, the paint and bodywork are rough, there are various paint defects and panel damage This is damage from off road use. The body panels are solid will very little corrosion and would be easily restored if desired by a new owner.

Body work defects identified:

  • Poor paint application on bonnet, doors and windscreen hinges with traces of previous colour (yellow) showing. Assumed to be non original parts.
  • Dint on front of bonnet
  • Dint in grill
  • Both front fenders have various dints and paint chips
  • Scratches down side of the Jeep
  • Dints in passenger sill  

Inspection highly recommended to appreciate.  No additional warranty or guarantee to that implied by law comes with the vehicle . The buyer is entitled to an independent garage or AA/RAC inspection.
