The ultra-simple TeraFlex JLU 4-Door: 2.5” Coil Spring Base Lift Kit w/ 9550 VSS Twin-Tube Shocks comes with the basic parts needed to fit larger tires for increased ground clearance for better off-road capability without compromising on road handling.

9550 VSS Shocks:

Designed specifically for the Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited, TeraFlex 9550 VSS (Vehicle Specific Shocks) Twin-Tube Shocks are engineered, valved, and tuned for extreme off-road performance while retaining a smooth highway ride. Additionally, a proprietary in-house velocity valve is tuned to react in sync with TeraFlex suspension systems and lift kits making them the perfect upgrade for your lift.

The twin-tube design, oversized external tube with e-dipped finish, triple-chrome plated rod with oil block and seal, internal travel stop limiter, premium quality rubber bushings, and Jeep specific mounting contributes to the 9550 VSS Twin-Tube Shock Absorber’s performance, durability, and comfort.

• Caster correction recommended, but not required – NOT INCLUDED. Front Lower Sport Flexarm Kit (# 1253000), or Front Control Arm Sport Brackets (# 1938125), or 8-Arm Alpine (IR) Flexarm Kit (Alpine: # 1416610 or Alpine IR: 1416510), recommended to optimize caster and pinion angles and restore factory steering and suspension geometry. Proper suspension geometry ensures all stability controls function w/in factory parameters. 
• Requires aftermarket wheels w/ 4.75” backspacing or less – or Offset Wheel Adapters for stock wheels – NOT INCLUDED. 
• Models w/ plastic bumpers require removal of bumper-to-fender wind deflector/splash guards in order to fit 35” or larger tires. 
• Sport/Sahara Fenders require 3” front and 2.5” rear bump stop extensions and shims (included) in order to fit 35” tires. 
• Rubicon USA Spec Fenders require 2” front and 2” rear bump stop extensions (included) in order to fit 35” tires. 
• Rubicon USA Spec Fenders require 2.5” front and 3” rear bump stop extensions and shims (included) in order to fit 37” tires.
