Important information regarding Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Updated – 23rd Sept 2020

The Jeepey and Storm Team have been working hard over the last six months during these very difficult times to maintain supplies. We are pleased to confirm over 95% of our customers orders have been processed and delivered. However, as the pandemic continues, automotive parts worldwide are now facing a shortages and delays. We now have local lockdowns, regional variations and new government measures; therefore, our couriers are likely to encounter additional delays. Please be assured our team will continue to keep the supply of parts and services open. We are working with suppliers across the world to ensure we can provide you with your requirements. All we ask is you be patient with us, if your part takes a little longer to arrive. We will continue to work very hard to deliver the best possible service during this ongoing global pandemic.

Stay safe, Many thanks; Jeepey and Storm Team.

DELIVERY INFORMATION Many of our couriers are now charging a re-delivery fee if they are unable to deliver on their first attempt. Please ensure that the delivery address stated on your invoice is correct and that someone will be available to accept delivery. Due to the current situation we have not choice but to pass on these charges if a attempt delivery is unsuccessful.

We have been following the Governments guidelines throughout this global pandemic. Our staff and premises are operating under a strict COVID-19 policy to help restrict the spread of the virus and minimise the threat of infection to yourself or our staff, please refer to the details below.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customer for their understanding during these unprecedented times.

Our website is fully operational; however, although Government restrictions are easing in many areas, and our business is now slowly returning to normal, but unfortunately, we aren't there yet. Our support team is still not quite at full capacity, so please be patient with us during these challenging times.

We aim to answer all calls during our working day (opening times: Monday - Friday, between 9am - 5pm). However, we actively encourage our customers to email or use our online chat featured on our web site. This will not only reduce the pressures on our teams and help increases productivity and ordering accuracy.

The effects of the lockdown and the Covid-19 are still having implications with our couriers and the automotive industry worldwide. Since the lockdown began we had to change how we operated here at Jeepey Ltd with a reduced workforce, along with working with supply shortages and delays, The good news from Jeepey, we have a worldwide distribution network to suppliers and manufacturers. Therefore, on the rare occasion when when we can can't supply your original requirement, we should be able to source an alternative for you.

Regarding our couriers, they are working hard to keep our parts moving, but please remember we have never before experienced a situation as serious as this pandemic. Drivers are stretched working with increased mail order deliveries along with reduction in drivers. It is therefore impossible to give you accurate delivery schedules, but you will receive tracking information to ensure you are kept up to date.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are currently not accepting walk in customers at this time, or customer collection of parts. Any visits to the site must be made by a pre-arranged appointment only. Please speak to a member of the team to arrange an appointment today.

Our workshop and garage are now open and fully operational for all works; however, they are working with reduced staff in the workshops to ensure the necessary distancing measures are in place.

If you are a member of the NHS, key worker or involved in the volunteer call up, and your vehicle needs attention please advise us on booking and ask for our special terms offered to key sector workers.

Please DO NOT turn up without prior appointment, if you do have an appointment to deliver or collect a vehicle, we will ensure you have no direct contact with our staff. Please follow any instructions given via email or via the posters on site.

All staff will be wearing the recommended PPE and will be adhering to our COVID-19 policy guidelines – although we do recommend wiping your keys, steering wheel and door handle down again once handover is complete as an additional precaution.

The Storm Jeeps Showroom is now open, however, this will be by appointment only, so please call today to arrange your appointment. In addition we are happy to help you with any phone or email enquiries.

Storm Jeeps can now offer a wide selection of new Jeep Wranglers JL available for immediate delivery to our Storm Workshop. Generous discounts are available on all new Storm builds, when the Jeep is supplied by us, please email or call for more details.

We are working diligently to inform all customers affected by these instances. We will also keep you updated if any changes are implemented beyond our control.  Feel free to reach out to us with questions regarding any of the above points.

Thank you for your understanding, Stay Safe

Jeepey & Storm Management Team

Global Shortages of Automotive Parts

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the automotive industry is now facing shortages worldwide.

Many of our products are manufactured globally, including countries such as the USA and the Far East.

Factories across the world have been either closed or working at reduced capacity for the last few months due to the COVID-19 situation.

Global transport has also been adversely affected due to the current circumstances.

Jeepey Limited and Storm Jeeps, are working with various suppliers and manufacturers in different countries to try and maintain availability of parts for our customers.

Please be assured Jeepey Limited and Storm Jeeps, are doing our very best to keep these delays to a minimum.

Sometimes there may be a requirement to automatically substitute the original choice of part, with an equivalent part to the same or better specification.

This will mainly apply to essential service parts, avoiding delays and helping to keep your vehicles running.

Any shortages with customisation or other parts ordered, our team will contact you to discuss the best way forward to complete the order.

However, unfortunately if a part ordered is not available for immediate delivery, the delivery date given for the order is only an estimate.

During these uncertain times Jeepey Ltd or Storm Jeeps, will not be held accountable should the estimated delivery schedule not be achieved.

Parcel Service - DPD

As of 27/072020 we are please to announce our parcel service collections from our UK Distribution Centre will return to a daily collection.

Royal Mail 1st Class tracked and signed for Service

Unfortunately as mentioned before with the increased pressure on the Postal Service the delivery time on this service are taking longer than usual, this is sadly out of our hands but is still one of the recommended method for delivery on smaller items. If you would like upgraded your delivery service to a parcel service please speak to a member of the team who can look at your options and the additional costs your will incur.

Parcel Service - DPD

As of 04/05/2020 our parcel service collections from our UK Distribution Centre will be a Monday and Thursday until further notice. This will help limit the number of visitors to our site but also ensure orders can be processed effectively within the warehouses.

Suspension of Economy 2nd Class Postal Service

Unfortunately due to the current situation and the increased pressure on Postal Services, our second class deliveries had been taking too long arriving, and in some cases going missing.

This resulted in a number of complaints and delivery enquiries to our reduced team at Jeepey.

We expect the Economy Service will be available again once, when the current crisis eases, and pressure is reduced on our delivery services.

Suspension of International shipping

As of 12noon, 26th March 2020 we will be suspending all international deliveries. Any orders paid for and not dispatched before this time a member of our team will contact you separately but for any orders placed but not paid for, these will be suspended until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we would like to ensure we can offer the highest level of service to our customers and during this period this may not be possible due to the Covid-19 outbreak. If you need to contact us surrounding this suspension of service please contact

ParcelForce - Suspension of Sameday Collections

Due to significantly higher than forecast volumes at the following depots, we have unfortunately had to suspend sameday collections across the UK today 18 March 2020 to ensure that all items get delivered;

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause

DPD - With immediate effect, we will no longer ask customers to sign our handheld units and instead our drivers will sign it on their behalf. We will record the consignees name and a 'Delivered on Authority' message in the signature section of the unit.

With this new process you will still get your full track and trace functionality, giving you complete visibility of all your parcels.

This now forms our proof of delivery process for all deliveries until further notice

Royal Mail - In order to protect both our people and customers as much as possible, we will not be handing over our hand-held devices to customers to capture signatures. Postmen and women will instead log the name of the person accepting the item. This will apply to all deliveries that require a signature.

Additionally, for all customers (including those who are self-isolating) where we need to deliver any parcel that won’t fit through your letterbox, we will place your item at your door. Having knocked on your door, we will then step aside to a safe distance while you retrieve your item. This will ensure your item is delivered securely rather than being left outside.

If you are unable to come to the door at all we will issue a ‘Something for You’ card, advising of other ways you can arrange to get your item. For example, by getting a friend or family member to collect the parcel from our local Customer Service Point on your behalf. In this situation, and to keep your mail as secure as possible, they will need to bring along the card we left you and a form of ID in the name of the person the item is addressed to.

FEDEX  - From Monday 16th March Fedex will only deliver business to business from our European distribution centre. Orders can still be placed but there could be a 2-3 day delay in delivery as these orders will need to be sent to and re-shipped from our UK distribution centre.
